Intel Corporation INTC Last Trading Session 20.33

Earlier gains followed strong gains on Monday, which also came with rating upgrades for Intel INTC: 20.05*, +0.01, +0.04%) and Alcoa AA: 15.91*, +0.12, +0.76%). The health-care sector received a big boost from a Senate vote that appeared to put the end in sight to the debate over health-care legislation.

Mergers-and-acquisitions activity had also contributed to Monday’s gains, which sent the Nasdaq Composite to a new closing high for the year.
